The single range TAG-200, dual range TAG-200MR, triple range TAG-2000 and single range TAG-330 are electronic voltage detectors designed for detecting both distribution and transmission voltages. These direct contact type detectors emit both audible and visual indications when placed in contact with an energized conductor. Units are designed for overhead applications, but can be adapted for underground use with optional underground bushing probes.

Insulator Tester

The Hi-Test® IT-4 Insulator Tester detects non-visible insulator failures before they cause operations difficulties or safety threats to line crews. The Insulator Tester can be used as a routine maintenance tool to test insulators quickly, safely and reliably. It can be applied to any in-service transmission or distribution insulator, provided there are two or more insulators between conductor and ground and at any voltage. It can also be used to test de-energized insulators prior to installation.
